E4E-NY teachers interviewed on NY1 about their turnaround school experiences
Three E4E members appeared on NY1's Inside City Hall just hours after the state supreme court ruled on New York City's 24 turnaround schools and spoke about their experiences at the schools and addressing the need for teacher voice through E4E.
Said one of the teachers, Dan Mejias, "[An evaluation system] was kind of the stumbling block between the union and the city... What we really need to raise the profession and improve education in our classroom is good feedback."
