Too often, our education system fails to tap into the drive, ambition and sense of justice that compels teachers to teach in California’s most challenging schools.

Through the E4E Teacher Policy Team on Attracting and Retaining Teachers in Hard-to-Staff Schools, educators with a variety of experiences tackled this problem. The result: a set of policy recommendations focused on how our schools, districts and state can implement policies to attract and retain teachers in the classrooms that need talent the most.
